Mike Musgrove is a guitarist from Fort Worth, Texas. He began playing rather late in life, while attending college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

His music career took him through several phases ranging from touring the southwest in a rock and roll band in the early 80's to country music in the early 90's, before taking a 10 year hiatus from music all together. He regained his interest in music after rekindling friendships with some old musician friends a few years ago.

His current direction combines jazz, blues and rock and he hopes to showcase this with the release of a CD in the near future.

Mike makes occasional appearances on the local music scene...so

check back here for updates.

Mike wishes to thank:

Rick Isbell - My best friend, an incredible musician with credits ranging from Charley Pride to Neal McCoy to Faces, for reminding what music is and teaching me what a groove is....I hope I get it some day. I wish you were still here to tell me I'm draggin....

Ron Ellis - (Currently appearing with the Texas Playboys) For the

incredible musical inspiration...for being there...and for what we've shared and lost.

Aram Doroff - For reaffirming that there are players around here that

understand what it is...and for the collaboration on this CD project.

Jon Skouloudis - Because he'll be pissed if I don't mention his name

Carrie - For the gift of music and for saying yes =)

Matt - For making me a proud dad
